Consumer complexes companies in Egypt attain $1.9bn revenues

Egyptian consumer complexes companies achieved revenues estimated at 15 billion Egyptian pounds (US$1.9 billion) during 2015, Minister of Supply Khaled Hanafy stated Thursday.

The minister made these remarks during inaugurating new consumer complex of Alex Market company that includes all food commodities with affordable prices.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister of Planning Ashraf El Araby and Ahmed El-Wakil – Chairman of Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC).

Hanafy pointed out that the ministry has recently developed and upgraded more than 40 percent of the complexes to compete with private chains in providing best commodities and services for the customer.
