CPA Files 7 Complaints Against Dandy Mall On Unknown Products

The Customer Protection Authority (CPA), at the Egyptian Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, has detected products from unknown sources in Dandy mall, on the Cairo – Alexandria Desert Road. It also detected numerous irregularities in the mall; violating the winter sale rules. And 7 complaints against the mall have been filed.

Atef Yacoub, Chairman of Consumer Protection Agency (CPA), told “Amwal Al Ghad” that several products from unknown source in Dandy mall have been detected; referring that he ordered the investigation department at CPA, which includes number of legal investigators have judicial police to supervise the markets, malls and whipping companies during the winter sale, to make sure if the traders carried out real discounts during the winter sale period.

Yacoub underscored the necessity of confronting the fake advertisements about sales that deceive the citizens. He also called on the citizens to cooperate with the authority through filing complaints concern any problems they face, in order to take the legal procedures against those who violate the law.
