Deal To Oversee Makkah Flood Projects Signed

The Makkah mayoralty has signed a new contract worth more than SR9 million with an engineering office to oversee the implementation of flood projects being carried out all over the city.

Dr. Osama Al-Bar, Makkah Mayor, and Ahmad Bayazeed, representative of Al-Tamayoz Al-Makki Engineering Consultation Office, based in Makkah, signed the contract, which will focus on completion of work within the scheduled time frame and ensure all projects are being implemented according to specifications.

The office will supervise several flood projects being implemented in different Makkah neighborhoods such as Al-Sharayeh, Bat’ha Quraish and Al-Fayha.

The mayoralty is keen to complete these projects on time and benefit from the expertise of specialized companies.

It also cooperates with all concerned authorities to make sure that top-notch services are provided to citizens, expatriates and visitors to the Grand Mosque.
