Delta Insurance Appoints Alia Helmy As CEO

Alia Helmy, the former general manager of ACE Insurance, will hold the CEO position at Delta Insurance Company next October.

Helmy said she will make the Delta Company achieve high growth rate in the upcoming period after studying the Company’s financial results in FY 2011/2012.

Helmy submitted its resignation to ACE Insurance at the beginning of September. She was about to hold the managing director position at Delta, but after joining the board of directors, the company will not select her for such position.

The managing director position at Delta Insurance Company is vacant after Yassin El-Hamzawy passed away last July. The board of directors of Delta Insurance Company had earlier chosen its chairman El-Sayed El-Gohary to act as a temporary managing director for financial and administrative affairs until selecting a manager of the property sector and a managing director.
