Delta Insurance Renews Reinsurance Accords with Munich Re, Swiss Re

Delta Insurance Company has recently renewed its reinsurance agreements with Munich Re and Swiss Re, the company’s chairman told Amwal Al Ghad on Sunday.

The chairman of Delta Insurance Company El-Sayed El-Gohary announced signing renewal agreements with the reinsurers Munich Re and Swiss Re without imposing strict conditions, thanks to the company’s good results besides following the technical underwriting standards to ensure the optimal insurance coverage services.

All over the last 3 years,  political and economic situation in Egypt had reversely affected the reinsurers’ businesses, driving them to impose additional conditions and restrictions during signing previous renewal agreements with local insurers, he noted. Yet, the current interim government is determined to achieve political stability followed by an economic booming through a military-led roadmap which had accordingly built up a vivid picture for the Egyptian market.
