Egypt’s Detac competes for New Airports in Saudi Arabia

Egypt’s Detac Construction intends to carry out new major projects in Saudi Arabia, represented in building up new airports, business development director Adel Alphonse announced Saturday.

Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad on Saturday, Alphonse noted that his company is studying the possibility of entering into a partnership with a Saudi alliance in the current phase to implement new projects in the kingdom.

Detac is seeking to form a new alliance so that the company would return carrying out projects outside Egypt, he noted.

He further stated that Detac is targeting boosting its volume of business to 800 million Egyptian pounds (US$105 million) in the coming period. Detac is currently carrying out a number of residential projects in the local market as well as participating in Egypt’s first phase of national road network.

Being a market leader for over 18 years, Detac Construction has successfully engaged in the development of several construction projects of various sizes, from massive industrial complexes and airports to fully fledged community compounds, residential, commercial, educational, healthcare and administrative buildings.

With two decades of unrivaled success, Detac now operates a quality management system as well as stable and powerful financial facilities with over 12 local and international banks and financial firms.
