DHL Express invests €400mn in Middle East in 2015

Leading express shipping provider, DHL Express is investing around €400 million in the Middle East and North Africa in 2015, Middle East and North Africa CEO Nour Suliman said Thursday.

Suliman told Amwal Al Ghad that DHL has pumped around €100 million in UAE and €150 million in Saudi Arabia in 2015; hence, the two states seize the largest share of firm’s investments.

The official emphasised that the company’s business in the region has achieved 15-20% growth rates annually, adding that the Middle East and North Africa regions are witnessing a growth in  business volume annually.

The official added that DHL Express intends to inaugurate a new office in Cairo International Airport with investments worth 500 million Egyptian pounds (US$63.8 million).
