Dubizzle Egypt Founders Step Down

JC Butler and Sim Whatley, the Founders of Dubizzle.com have decided to give up from their executive positions, and to depart from the Middle East.

Butler and Whatley have asserted that this decision is due to family reasons imposing them to back to homeland in United States, pointing out that Dubizzle no longer need them as before, after the appointment of many innovative and professional cadres.

After MIH, the investment arm of South Africa  has captured 25% from the total company’s shares, Butler and Whatley took the last step of departure, the owners are planning to divided the shares to make MIH will seize 51% shares.

Dubizzle succeeded within the last eight years since its inception in 2005 to enter the most prominent markets starting from Morocco to Oman, except Iraq, Palestine and Yemen.

They pointed out that the strategy of expansion in Egypt is based on Dubizzle relay on e-networks.
