Egypt’s Export Development Bank sees $1.90 mln block trading deal
Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBE) recorded a block trading deal transaction worth 58.90 million Egyptian pounds ($1.8 million) on Tuesday.
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced in a bourse filing that the block deal was done on 4.50 million of the bank’s shares on Sunday.
In the first three months of 2023, the bank registered consolidated net profits after tax valued of 563.87 million pounds, up from 301.89 million pounds, including minority interest.
Standalone business recorded net profits after tax worth of 501.79 million pounds during January-March 2023 up from 288.38 million pounds during the same period the year before.
