Egypt: FEB Holds its Periodic Meeting Today

The Federation of Egyptian Banks (FEB) headed by Mr. Hisham Ezz Al-Arab, will be holding its periodic meeting today in the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank (CBE) Dr. Hisham Ramez.

The FEB is convening today in the light of its periodic meetings which are being held between the federation and the chairmen of banks every three months, aiming to discuss the latest major economic developments as well as issues related to the country’s banking sector, said a head of one of the banks working in Egypt.

He further referred that today’s meeting will not discuss certain issues as all the topics in the Egyptian banking sectors will be on the table for discussion such as the provision of the foreign currency for the local banks so as to fulfill citizens and importers’ needs.
