Economic Group Reviews Providing Basic Commodities

The economic group, under Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi, reviewed a report of the supply minister on the measures taken by the ministry to provide all kinds of commodities and meats in preparation of Eidul-Adha (Big Bairam).

All the basic commodities and meats will be provided at the distribution outlets at reasonable prices, said Cabinet media advisor Sherif Shawki.

The meeting also reviewed the latest developments in the foreign exchange market along with efforts to provide all the needs of petrol and diesel.

The meeting was attended by governor of the Central Bank and the ministers of trade and industry, investment, planning, financial, housing, oil and supply.
