ECS Offices in Syria To Be Shut

Head of the commercial office in the ministry of industry and foreign trade, Anwar Al Sahragty, decided to shut the Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) office in Damascus, due to the ongoing deterioration of the Syrian security states.

Al Sahragty told Amwal Al Ghad that he ordered the ECS office in Syria to move to Jeddah, and continue the work from there; through connecting to the officials in the Egyptian embassy to Syria.

He referred to the retreat of commercial exchange between Egypt and Syria, because of the security and political states in Syria; consequently many mutual products disappeared. He also referred that opening the Egyptian Commercial office in Damascus depends on the stability of Syrian states.
