EFG Hermes drives brokerage trading in EGX by EGP 4.5bln in week

Egypt’s investment bank EFG-Hermes has led the brokerage firms on Thursday with 4.5 billion Egyptian pounds in terms of trading values and acquired the market share by 21.5 percent, while the trading volume has reached about 248.3 million banknotes.

Hermes for brokerage came in second place with a trading value of 2.4 billion pounds, possessing around 11.6 percent and Al Ahly Pharos for trading ranked in the third place with a market share of 8.4 percent.

While, Commercial International Brokerage Company S.A.E. (CIBC) came in the fourth place with a trading value of 1.7 billion pounds, with a market share of 7.9 percent.

Beltone Financial Holding resides at the fifth place with a trading value of 94.8 million banknotes, possessing 5.3 percent of the market shares and a trading value of 1.1 billion pounds.
