EGP 71 bln Imports From Asia In 2012

The Egyptian market received EGP 71 billion imports from Asia throughout January-August, according to sources in the ministry pf industry and foreign trade to Amwal AL Ghad.
Most of these imports, which came from China, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea, are engineering, electronic, textile, ready-made garments and some food products.
China has got the lion’s share of these imports to the Egyptian market with EGP 23 billion, among different Arab and non-Arab Asian countries.
