Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Monday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 2.31 per cent to 51,994.63 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, jumped by 3.09 per cent to 5,782.95 points.
- The index EGX35-LV climbed by 2.46 per cent to 6,050.84 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, soared by 2.73 per cent, to 15,396.24 points.
- The EGX100 index advanced by 2.73 per cent, to 21,179.3 points.
The total market cap reached 3,715,628,784,815 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 276,676,642 Egyptian pounds and 9,591,170 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arabs were net sellers with 286,267,813 pounds.

- The shares of Egyptian Arabian(Themar)Comp. For Securities & Bonds Broker. EAC rose by 20.00 per cent, to close at the price of 6.120 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Misr Oils & Soap climbed by 20.00 per cent, closing at the price of 298.210 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Lotus For Agricultural Investments And Development jumped by 11.81 per cent, to the purchasing price of 0.729 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
- The shares of Middle & West Delta Flour Mills fell by 5.97 per cent, to close at 507.590 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Subscription Rights Of Aspire Cap Hold for Financ Invest-3 declined by 5.45 per cent, to close at 0.104 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Abou Kir Fertilizers dropped by 4.90 per cent, to close at the price of 72.750 Egyptian pounds a share.
