Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in green area on Monday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 2.68 per cent to 52,502.74 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, jumped by 2.45 per cent to 5,910.78 points.
- The index EGX35-LV climbed by 1.31 per cent to 61,22.28 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, soared by 1.12 per cent, to 16,132.98 points.
- The EGX100 index advanced by 1.25 per cent, to 21,925.59 points.
The total market cap reached 3,807,526,753,810 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 2,170,449,005 Egyptian pounds and 2,164,295,560 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net sellers with 4,334,744,564 pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
- The shares of United Housing & Development rose by 19.99 per cent, to close at the price of 16.090 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Naeem Real Estate Holding Group climbed by 11.72 per cent, closing at the price of 15.440 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Mena Touristic & Real Estate Investment jumped by 10.16 per cent, to the purchasing price of 7.590 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
- The shares of Tycoon Holding Company For Financial Investments fell by 4.68 per cent, to close at 26.500 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Creast Mark For Contracting And Real Estate Development declined by 4.41 per cent, to close at 1.300 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool dropped by 4.22 per cent, to close at the price of 85.500 Egyptian pounds a share.
