EGX closes all red on April 18th

Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed all red on Thursday, with the main index, EGX30 going down by 4.50 per cent to 28,332.65 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 dropped by 4.82 per cent, to 6,504.19 points.

The index, EGX100 index sunk by 5.01 per cent, to 9,257.92 points.

The total market cap reached 1,915,674,131,568 Egyptian pounds.

The Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with total of 2,556,662,942 Egyptian pounds, and 406,841,847 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with a total of 2,963,504,789 Egyptian pounds.

Top gainers on Thursday

The shares of Rowad Tourism (Al Rowad) (ROTO.CA) plunged by 4.85 per cent, to close at 36.570 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Egyptian Real Estate Group (AREH.CA) climbed by 4.71 per cent, to trade at the price of 1.023 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Sharm Dreams Co. for Tourism Investment (SDTI.CA) inched up by 3.55 per cent, to the purchasing price of 16.340 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Thursday

The shares of GTEX For Commercial And Industrial (GTEX.CA) plunged by 11.63 per cent, to close at 0.038 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Development & Engineering Consultants (DAPH.CA) went down by 11.05 per cent, to close at 69.650 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Sinai Cement (SCEM.CA) dropped by 10.53 per cent, to close at the price of 11.130 Egyptian pounds a share.
