EGX closes all red on March 28

Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed all red on Thursday, with the main index, EGX30 sliding by 2.36 per cent to 27,559.35 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 dove by 1.80 per cent, to 6,399.02 points.

The index, EGX100 index sank by 1.96 per cent, to 9,079.26 points.

The total market cap reached 1,859,774,435,227 Egyptian pounds.

The Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with total of 1,408,109,177 Egyptian pounds, and 223,440,791 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Non-Arabs Foreigners were net buyers with a total of 1,631,549,968 Egyptian pounds.

Top gainers on Thursday

The shares of National Housing for Professional Syndicates (NHPS.CA) jumped by 19.99 per cent, to close at the price of 37.280 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Osool ESB Securities Brokerage (EBSC.CA) climbed by 13.33 per cent, to trade at the price of 0.340 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Ismailia Development and Real Estate Co (IDRE.CA) inched up by 4.96 per cent, to the purchasing price of 20.310 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Thursday

The shares of Concrete Fashion Group For Commercial& Industrial Investment (CFGH.CA) plunged by 10.00 per cent, to close at 0.063 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Qatar National Bank Alahly (QNBA.CA) went down by 7.43 per cent, to close at 32.020 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Orascom Development Egypt (ORHD.CA) dropped by 6.53 per cent, to close at the price of 11.030 Egyptian pounds a share.
