Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Tuesday. The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.70 per cent, to 29,826.58 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.35 per cent to 3,155.1 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 climbed by 1.30 per cent, to 8,480.45 points.
The index, EGX100 index jumped by 1.11 per cent, to 11,603.24 points.
The total market cap reached 2,231,943,255,242 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 1,373,167,312 Egyptian pounds, and 11,631,623,941 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arabs were net buyers with a total of 13,004,791,253 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Tuesday
- ARAB Developers Holding (PORT.CA) shares climbed by 15.10 per cent, to close at 0.404 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Digitize for Investment And Technology (DGTZ.CA) shares jumped by 9.75 per cent, to close at 3.040 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Misr Chemical Industries (MICH.CA) shares surged by 8.56 per cent, to close at the price of 29.940 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Tuesday
- Rakta Paper Manufacturing (RAKT.CA) shares declined by 4.94 per cent, to close at the price of 28.270 Egyptian pounds a share.
- El Ahram Co. For Printing And Packing (EPPK.CA) shares fell by 4.66 per cent, to trade at the price of 10.850 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Gharbia Islamic Housing Development (GIHD.CA) shares dropped by 4.52 per cent, to the purchasing price of 30.830 Egyptian pounds a share.
