Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went down by 0.31 per cent, to 54,937.34 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, dropped by 0.41 per cent to 6,555.09 points.
- The index EGX35-LV soared by 0.95 per cent to 6,792.6 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, climbed by 0.30 per cent to 21,332.45 points.
- The EGX100 index rose by 0.37 per cent to 27,681.48 points.
The total market cap reached 4,292,938,638,477 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 536,156,291 Egyptian pounds and 43,443,135 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Arabs were net sellers with 579,599,426 pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of Lotus For Agricultural Investments And Development surged by 20.00 per cent, closing at 1.164 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of Certificates Of Odin Egyptian Equity Investment Fund-KASAB rose by 20.00 per cent, reaching 11.640 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of Development & Engineering Consultants went up by 20.00 per cent to close at 141.600 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Creast Mark For Contracting And Real Estate Development went down by 7.40 per cent to close at 2.880 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Glaxo Smith Kline dropped by 7.19 per cent to close at 413.020 per cent a share.
- The shares of O B Financial Holding dropped by 6.36 per cent, to close at 1.030 Egyptian pounds a share.
