Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Thursday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went down by 0.39 per cent to 56,280.17 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, dropped by 0.12 per cent to 6,755.59 points.
- The index EGX35-LV sank by 0.11 per cent to 6,999.12 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, rose by 0.32 per cent to 21,403.27 points.
- The EGX100 index jumped by 0.17 per cent, to 27,997.27 points.
The total market cap reached 4,408,177,499,587 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with 831,451,827 Egyptian pounds and 5,315,925,369 pounds, respectively. On the other hand. Egyptians were net buyers with 6,147,377,196 pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of Mansourah Poultry went up by 13.54 per cent to 2.600 pounds a share.
- The shares of Subscription Rights Of Lotus For Agricultural Invest&Dev-1 rose by 11.55 per cent to close at 0.792 pounds a share.
- The shares of Creast Mark For Contracting And Real Estate Development jumped by 10.32 per cent, closing at 3.420 pounds.
Top losers
- The shares of TransOceans Tours dropped by 6.58 per cent to 0.071 pounds at closing.
- The shares of Alexandria Mineral Oils Company fell by 5.49 per cent to close at 13.600 pounds a share.
- The shares of Amer Group Holding sank by 5.24 per cent, closing at 5.240 pounds a share.
