Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went down by 0.95 per cent, to 53,417.59 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, dropped by 0.52 per cent to 6,029.95 points.
- The index EGX35-LV fell by 0.06 per cent to 6,364.56 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, advanced by 0.84 per cent to 17,855.72 points.
- The EGX100 index rose by 0.47 per cent to 23,709.04 points.
The total market cap reached 3,936,528,635,486 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 477,545,632 Egyptian pounds and 110,362,138 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptian were net sellers with 587,907,770 pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of Catalyst Partners Middle East –CPME surged by 11.92 per cent, closing at 24.040 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of Delta For Printing & Packaging rose by 11.49 per cent, reaching 250.110 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of Ismailia Misr Poultry went up by 9.58 per cent to close at 31.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Concrete Fashion Group For Commercial& Industrial Investment went down by 6.42 per cent to close at 0.102 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Grand Investment Capital dropped by 5.34 per cent to close at 59.070 per cent a share.
- The shares of Alexandria Flour Mills by 4.55 per cent, to close at 102.600 Egyptian pounds a share.
