Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Monday.
The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.36 per cent, to 29,905.41 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 sunk 0.45 per cent to 3,153.78 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 jumped by 0.28 per cent, to 8,634.44 points.
The index, EGX100 index rose by 0.12 per cent, to 11,756.69 points.
The total market cap reached 2,218,692,659,009 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and the Arabs were net buyers with 4,270,272,043 Egyptian pounds, and 443,668,819 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 4,713,940,863 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
- Arabian Food Industries DOMTY shares rose by 12.31 per cent, to close at the price of 26.370 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Aspire Capital Holding For Financial Investments shares climbed by 11.11 per cent, to trade at the price of 0.310 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Egyptians Housing Development & Reconstruction shares jumped by 10.59 per cent, to the purchasing price of 0.428 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
- Delta For Printing & Packaging shares fell by 8.94 per cent, to close at 62.920 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Gulf Canadian Real Estate Investment Co. shares declined by 4.96 per cent, to close at 42.690 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Egypt Aluminum shares dropped by 4.91 per cent, to close at the price of 146.650 Egyptian pounds a share.
