Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Monday, February 17, 2025.
The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.02 per cent, to 30,436.71 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.09 per cent to 3,166.84 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 sunk by 0.25 per cent, to 8,544.59 points.
The index, EGX100 index dropped by 0.03 per cent, to 11,731.71 points.
Egypt’s total market cap reached 2,247,264,419,060 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and the Arabs were net buyers with 1,384,313,241 Egyptian pounds, and 114,618,583 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 1,498,931,824 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
- Osool ESB Securities Brokerage shares rose by 10.78 per cent, to close at the price of 1.130 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Arab Valves Company shares climbed by 7.34 per cent, to trade at the price of 5.120 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Beltone Holding shares jumped by 7.32 per cent, to the purchasing price of 2.640 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
- Saudi Egyptian Investment & Finance shares fell by 8.10 per cent, to close at 59.430 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Misr Duty Free Shops shares declined by 7.24 per cent, to close at 27.040 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The Egyptian Company for Construction Development-Lift Slab shares dropped by 6.30 per cent, to close at the price of 0.759 Egyptian pounds a share.
