Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mostly in the green area on Wednesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 went up by 0.29 per cent to 52,383.13 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 dropped by 0.02 per cent, to 5,559.46 points.
- The EGX35-LV index added 0.40 per cent to 5,761.27 points
- The SMEs index, EGX70 rose by 0.36 per cent to 14,023.15 points.
- The EGX100 index gained 0.52 per cent to 19,626.65 points.
The total market cap reached 3,672,278,088,834 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers, with 10,802,955,768 pounds and 535,251,304 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, non-Arab foreigners were net buyers, totalling 11,338,207,072 pounds.

- The shares of Alexandria New Medical Center went up by 20.00 per cent to 46.560 pounds a share.
- The shares of October Pharma climbed by 10.63 per cent to 343.000 pounds a share.
- The shares of Cleopatra Hospital Company rose by 9.39 per cent to 14.330 pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Gourmet Egypt.Com Foods dropped by 5.77 per cent to 12.570 pounds a share.
- The shares of Tycoon Holding Company For Financial Investments sank by 4.89 per cent to 14.200 pounds a share.
- The shares of Remco for Touristic Villages Construction went down by 4.89 per cent to 4.280 pounds a share.
