Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mostly red on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went down by 0.48 per cent, to 38,082.88 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, climbed slightly by 0.17 per cent to 3,932.28 points.
- The index EGX35-LV dropped by 0.36 per cent to 4,319.5 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, sank by 0.06 per cent to 12,078.22 points.
- The EGX100 index decreased by 0.29 per cent, to 15,863.01 points.
The total market cap reached 2,761,689,336,696 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 67,965,922 Egyptian and 14,866,854 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, The Arabs were net sellers with total of 82,832,776 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of General Company For Land Reclamation,Development & Reconstru surged by 20.00 per cent, closing at 194.420 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of El Arabia for Land Reclamation rose by 20.00 per cent, reaching 302.100 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of Wadi Kom Ombo Land Reclamation went up by 20.00 per cent to close at 274.560 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of A Capital Holding went down by 8.91 per cent to close at 8.380 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of El-Nile Co. For Pharmaceuticals And Chemical Industries dropped by 8.17 per cent to close at 104.690 per cent a share.
- The shares of Beltone Holding sank by 6.04 per cent, to close at 2.800 Egyptian pounds a share.
