EGX: July 1st Official Holiday on Egypt’s New FY

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has announced that Sunday 01/07/2012 an official holiday due to the beginning of the new Fiscal Year 2013/2014. The Egyptian bourse stated that it shall resume trading on Monday 02/07/2012.

Banks in Egypt has announced a similar announcement regarding halting their activities due to the beginning of the FY.

Worth mentioning, the new fiscal year in Egypt starts on 01/07/2013 and ends on 30/06/2014.
