Egypt’s NTRA Discussing Shura Council Recommendations To Cut Its Budget

The National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) is currently discussing the recommendations of Shura Council to cut its budget of the fiscal year of 2013-2014, within the Council recommendations to reduce the expenses of the economic bodies.

Dr. Amr Badawi, CEO of (NTRA), has emphasized to Amwal Al Ghad that the broad of directors is working now to implement the submitted recommendations from the Council, pointing out that (NTRA) is in the the final phases of implementing the recommendations so as to send soon to the Council in order to approve its budget for the new fiscal year.

Shura Council has recommended to cut the budget of (NTRA) especially in the items which related to the advertisements from EGP 5.5 million to 1 million.

In addition to demanding to review the rewards of broad of Directors which reached EGP 61.000 monthly in the form of allowances and incentives.
