Egypt’s stocks increased at midday session on Tuesday registering gains of 4billion Egyptian pounds backed by Egyptian and Arab investors buying appetite. In addition, the country’s main stock index, EGX30 exceeds 9559.65 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX indices were wavering in green notes during the midday session of Tuesday.
The Benchmark EGX30 hiked by 1.2% to 9559.65p, and EGX20 inched up by 1.49% to 11398.9 p.
In addition, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 rose by 1.18% to 631.2 p. Yet, the Price index EGX100 increased by 1.27% to 1141.27 p.
Furthermore, market capitalization reached EGP 522.140.926 billion.
Trading Volumes & Values
The trading volume has recorded 67.971 million securities worth EGP 328.598 million, exchanged through 11.4 thousand transactions during Tuesday midday.
Also during the midday session, 157 listed securities have been traded in; 15 fell, 104 advanced; while 38 keeping their previous levels.
The Arab and Egyptian investors were net buyers acquiring at midday trade 66.63% and 8.06% of the total market, with a net equity of EGP 21.4 million and EGP8.1 million , excluding the deals.
On the other hand, foreign investors were net sellers net equity of EGP 29.6 million, excluding the deals.
