EGX’s Flops go on, shrink to L.E616 Million in Mid-Trading

EGX’s losses went on during the mid-day trading session to eventually reach L.E616 million. The capital market has recorded L.E385.338 billion.

The main index, EGX 30, has recorded a drop of 0.09% to reach 5302.98p. EGX20 has edged down by 0.16% to reach 6335.86p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 has dropped by 0.15% to reach 521.13p. Price index EGX100 has decreased by 0.10% to reach 871p.

The market has recorded turnovers of L.E252.790 million through a volume of trading amounted to 65.381 million shares for 15.171thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 165 listed securities; 102 down and 51 up while 12 keeping their previous levels.

Egyptian and Arab investors have made up sale deals concluding net sales reached L.E17.3 million and L.E2.233 million respectively.

Elsewhere, foreign investors were responsible for the purchase deals as the difference amount between their purchase and sale deals worth L.E19.5million.

During the morning trading session, EGX’s losses approximately reached L.E2 billion.
