EGX’s Losses Doubled; Midday

EGX’s morning losses have been doubled to reach L.E 2 billion during Thursday’s midday trading, as the capital market reached L.E 371.786 billion.

The main index, EGX 30 downed 0.40% to reach 5113.23 p. EGX20 decreased 0.50% to reach 5975.27 p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 dipped 0.69% to reach 480.13 p. Price index EGX100 edged down 0.57% to close at 822.14 p.

The market has recorded values of L.E 93.398 million; while the volume traded reached 30.619 million securities executed over 6.474 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 139 listed securities; 105 down and 21 up while 13 keeping their previous levels.

Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers, with a net equity of L.E 2.355 million and of L.E 1.196 million respectively, after excluding deals.

Foreign investors were net buyers, with a net equity of L.E 3.551 million, after excluding deals.
