Egypt allocates 6.4 bln pounds for health, railways and other services

Egypt’s Finance Minister Mohamed Mait has approved an urgent financial allocation worth 6.4 billion pounds for state-affiliated institutions and bodies, a statement by the ministry read.

The funds are planned to go to the Public Authority of Supply, the Supreme Council of Culture, the General Authority for Health Insurance, the Supreme Council for Media, the Egyptian National Railways, and other bodies to meet their obligations in September, said the Finance Ministry in a press release on Saturday.

Atotal sum of 861.5 million pounds will be allocated for the General Authority for Health Insurance, according to the statement.
