Egypt announces new BP natural gas find

Egypt has confirmed a new natural gas discovery in the Mediterranean off King Mariout by British Petroleum (BP), Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has announced.

The discovery is considered highly promising, with further details to be revealed soon. Madbouly highlighted that Egypt’s commitment to settling dues with foreign partners has bolstered exploration efforts, leading to new energy finds.

The announcement underscores Egypt’s ongoing efforts to expand its natural gas resources and attract further investment in the sector.
