Egypt Bourse Chief Flies To Istanbul Over Tie-Up Talks

Egyptian bourse chief left Cairo on Thursday, for Istanbul, Turkey, where he will meet with his Turkish counterparts.

Egyptian Exchange Chairman Dr. Mohamed Omran will be holding a number of meetings with officials from Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) seeking to bolster means of cooperation between the two countries within the upcoming period.

Dr. Omran has announced earlier this month that there are ongoing negotiations between the EGX and ISE over the establishment of a joint bourse website, preliminary to the activation of their joint trading project which is expected to come into force next September.
