Egypt Central Bank to receive $6 billion Gulf Deposits in 10 Days – Official

Egypt’s central bank is expected to receive US$6 billion in deposits from Gulf Arab countries within 10 days, the central bank’s chief Hisham Ramez announced Tuesday.

Gulf countries have pledged at least $3 billion in deposits to Egypt’s central bank as part of a total of $12.5 billion in aid during Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) held last March in Sharm El-Sheikh.
