Egypt completes 38% of works on Borg Al Arab Tech and Science Park

Borg Al Arab Tech and Science Park has been completed by 38 percent, infrastructure and the built up area would be finished by the end of June 2016, chairman of Borg Elarab City Authority Ahmed El Desouky, said Monday.

The project is an integrated Tech & Science Park spread over 37,800 m² and built up area of 126,000 m² based on a land usufruct model with total investment costs of US$ 161 million.

In addition, the project includes facilities for citizen services, banks, shops, training, innovation and entrepreneurship, outsourcing, companies, infrastructure, district administration, fences and gates, a mosque and product distribution outlets (supermarkets).

Expanding technological parks nationwide is one of the leading developmental national projects that MCIT through the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

Borg Al Arab is the strategic extension of Alexandria and has 1,179 factories, an EGP 9 billion investment record and over 92,000 workers; proximity to the airport and various educational institutions) and competitive cost base.
