Egypt confirms 1,363 new coronavirus cases, 84 fatalities on Wednesday

Egypt confirmed on Wednesday 1,363 new coronavirus cases, taking the toll to 49,219, according to a health ministry statement.

The country also reported 84 new deaths that took the tally of virus fatalities to 1,850. However, the total number of recoveries has surged to 13,141 from 12,730 on Tuesday, the statement said.
