Egypt detected 138 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, reporting a total tally of 105,297 cases since the outbreak began in February.

The health ministry also reported 10 new deaths, bringing the total deaths from the virus to 6,109.

The statement said that 68 patients had been discharged from hospitals in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 98,157.
