Egypt is dedicating 75 billion Egyptian pounds ($2.4 billion) for the current fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024 to develop the healthcare sector, said Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala al-Saeed on Thursday.
The investment represents 4.6 percent of Egypt’s total investments during the current FY plan, according to the ministry’s statement.
On Wednesday, al-Saeed said that a total of 99.4 billion pounds is to be directed at the development of educational services.
