Egypt Guest Of Honor Of China-Arab States Expo 2017

The move came during the inauguration of China-Arab States Expo 2015, which kicked off in Ningxia, China on Thursday 10/09/2015.

As part of its “One Belt, One Road” strategy, China is planning to closely cooperate at all levels with countries along the Silk Road economic belt and the Maritime Silk Road, with the goal of engaging in joint discussions, joint development projects, the promotion of orderly and unhindered economic exchanges and trade, the effective allocation of resources and a deeper integration of markets.

Egypt will take part in several forums and proceedings which will be held during the exhibition.

Egypt’s Scientific Research Minister Sherif Hammad arrived along with his accompanying delegation in China on a five-day visit to attend the proceedings of the China-Arab States Expo.

Jordanian King Abdullah II, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz and other leaders attended the opening ceremony.
