Egypt inaugurates first drive-thru post office

Egypt inaugurated its first ever drive-thru post office in Nasr city on Monday, said Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat.

The new drive-thru is equipped with the latest tech systems and solutions to offer citizens with Egypt’s digital and postal services in their cars via its 7 windows.

The office spans over an area of 2,000 square meters.

The minister said that Egypt aims to increase post offices of all kinds to reach 4,500.
