Egypt Interior Minister Reviews Plans to Secure June 30 Protests

Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim held on Monday 24/6/2013 a meeting with a number of his aides to review plans to secure planned protests on June 30.

During the meeting, minister Ibrahim said policemen will only secure the peaceful protesters and will confront any attacks on public property, vital institutions and all police stations nationwide.

Ibrahim called on all police personnel to stand at the same distance from all political parties and groups, Ibrahim underlined. He vowed to protect the Egyptian people from sliding into chaos and lawlessness.
