Egypt Issues 1 Bln EGP In First Floating Rate Notes Sale

Egypt sold 1 billion Egyptian pounds ($164.04 million) in floating rate notes in a maiden sale, the same amount it had offered, at an average yield of 15.388 percent, the central bank said on Monday.

The minimum yield accepted was 15.22 percent and the maximum 15.45 percent. The coupon on the notes was set at 15.454 percent. ($1 = 6.0960 Egyptian pounds)
