Egypt’s Ministry of Finance has signed a cooperation protocol with the National Training Academy (NTA) to launch the national project ‘You First’, aimed at investing in staff development, according to an official statement.
The project focuses on enhancing the workforce of the Ministry of Finance and its affiliated bodies through globally-based leadership development plans and programmes to improve institutional performance.
The initiative aims to develop ministry staff skills and improve public services through specialised training programmes by the NTA, aligned with professional standards, the statement added.
Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk expressed his pleasure at the signing of this protocol, which opens promising horizons for further fruitful cooperation between the two parties to invest robustly in human capital.
He stated that this would improve the ministry’s capacity to meet its financial and economic objectives and expressed a strong willingness to adopt international knowledge and practices in finance, administration, and economics.
Minister Kouchouk emphasised the importance of training competent human resources to lead the future by providing opportunities for creativity and innovation based on a realistic analysis of challenges.
Rasha Ragheb, executive director of NTA, emphasised that the signing of this protocol is an important step in supporting the state’s efforts towards institutional transformation and improving the efficiency of the administrative apparatus.
She pointed out that cooperation with the Ministry of Finance represents a model for the integration of roles among state institutions to serve developmental objectives, as per the statement.
Ragheb stated that the NTA will offer executive training, leadership development, and administrative improvement programmes, as well as interactive workshops to provide staff with modern tools and methods for financial management in the digital age.
