Egypt Offers Condolences to S. Korea over Sunken Boat

Egypt offered its condolences to South Korea after a fishing boat sank earlier in the month off the Russian shore.

The Oryong 501 went down in the Bering Sea, leaving seven people dead, while 46 others remain unaccounted for.

In a statement on Sunday 7/12/2014, the Foreign Ministry extended condolences to the families of the victims and sympathy with the injured, wishing them speedy recovery.

Egypt fully supports the South Korean government and people during this tragic time, it said.
