Egypt officially launches the first locally manufactured smartphone

Egypt has officially launched its first locally manufactured smart phone at the 21st  edition of Cairo ICT 2017, by minister of communication, Yasser El Kady.

Delivering his keynote speech, Kady said that the smart phone has 45 percent of its components locally produced.

The minister of communication, Yasser El Kady has gifted the new mobile which is manufactured by  Sico Technology to the President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.

During the inauguration ceremony,  The President has listened to the minister of communication, Yasser Al Kady,  detailed explanation  about the 5G technology test  as well as the fair pavilions.

On the other hand, President Al Sisi has inaugurated the first phase of Beni Suef, Sadat and Monufia technology Parks though video conference, he also ordered the launch of the first phase of the technology works.
