The Egyptian postal authority, Egypt Post has achieved a financial surplus worth 1.41 billion Egyptian pounds ($190.9 million) in the financial year 2015/2016, said its Chairman Essam El-Sageir.
Earlier, Egypt Post registered a surplus of 165 million pounds throughout the financial year 2014/2015, El-Sageir stated.
He added that Egypt Post is adopting a comprehensive strategic plan to bring about a quantum transformation in all sectors and services the authority provides.
This resulted in witnessing a significant leap Egypt Post made in terms of services quality and contributed a lot to the enhancement of skills and technical expertise of the manpower working in the Egyptian postal authority.
El-Sageir also hinted that the authority recently established partnerships with a number of banks and companies restoring its customers’ trust. This helped generating about 700 million pounds of profits during the first quarter of the year.
