Egypt receives 30 railway coaches from Russia – minister

Egypt’s Minister of Transportation, Kamel al-Wazir announced on Friday that the Alexandria port has received 30 passenger railway coaches from the Russian Transmashholding company.

This batch comes as part of a deal to manufacture and supply 1,300 coaches signed between the Egyptian National Railways (ENR) and Transmashholding, with a cost of €1.16 billion.
