Egypt received on Saturday five planes carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza Strip from Russia, Oman, UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia at El-Arish Airport, Al-Qahera News TV channel reported.
This came a day after the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, which started on Friday at seven A.M. The Gazan civilians have slept quietly for the first time after a month and a half in which they are in a state of daily death.
In another context, the head of the Egyptian General Information Authority, Ziad Rashwan, confirmed that about 200 aid trucks had entered the Gaza Strip, along with two ambulances sent from the Tahya Misr Fund.
