Egypt registers 130 new coronavirus cases, 16 deaths on Saturday

Egypt registered 130 new coronavirus (Covid-19) cases on Saturday bringing the total infection tally to 99,712 since the outbreak began in February, according to a health ministry statement.

The health ministry also reported 16 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the coronavirus to 5,511.

The statement said 903 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 77,208.
